It was my great pleasure to help organise this fantastic new initiative, funded by Canon Singapore. We took six film students from Singapore to do an intensive conservation filmmaking course in Yunnan - a fantastic experience for all. |

JAN 2005 - Editing another in the series Asian Masterpiece Showcase at The Edit Lounge for Bang Productions/Discovery. This one is on Jeepneys. My first time on Final Cut Pro HD, having worked primarily on Avid - verdict: not bad, easy to pick up, seems more intuitive than Avid.

Oct 2003 - My first visit to Jackson Hole (USA) - a GREAT festival!!! It was a resounding success for FFC, Wildlife Asia AND for me personally. Conservation was the issue that resonated throughout the festival. The industry has really given FFC a great boost of confidence, and the response to Wildlife Asia was equally as encouraging! I am totally excited by the prospects!
Thanks to the guys at Kodak for a great day out on their film refresher course - a great opportunity to operate the ARRI SR3 (its been a while!), AATON XTR Prod and the A Minima (a real cute camera!)

Sept 2003 - Looking ahead to my first trip to the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival, in Wyoming USA. I have to extend my greatest thanks to the festival organisers who have kindly granted me a bursary through the Michael Brinkman Fellowship, giving me 100% discount to the delegate's fee.

Aug 2003 - Womad Singapore. Had the greatest of pleasure working on the main stage as cameraman over the three day event. The highlight was most definitely Afro Celt, followed closely by Nitin Sawhney.

June/July 2003 - My next editing project with Bang Productions. This is a series of 60 min cultural documentaries for Discovery entitled Asian Masterpiece Showcase (AMS) . The first documentary is Long Journey, Short Reunion from Korea.

April 2003 - I finished editing Best Of Asia - Indonesian Spas, for Bang Productions (based in Hong Kong). These 1'20" interstitials, produced for the Indonesia Culture and Tourism Agency are for broadcast on CNN.
